Alex is a Brooklyn-based writer, researcher, photographer and filmmaker. He was recently awarded a Susan Kamil 2024-25 Emerging Writers Fellowship from the Center for Fiction in Brooklyn, currently working toward the completion of his first novel. 

As a photographer and videographer, he works with musicians, comedians and small firms across Brooklyn. 

He’s performed research for a number of independent documentaries, and is a junior researcher for insidephilanthropy.com.
